Title: RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR – (additional role due to expansion)

Reports to: ASSISTANT REST MANAGER / GENERAL MANAGER

Hours: FULL TIME – 40 HOURS

Salary: £26k per annum plus service charge

Job Purpose

As Restaurant Supervisor you will be responsible for running shifts and leading our front of house team, ensuring all aspects of service are delivered to our high standard.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for opening and closing the restaurant
  • Oversee all operations while on duty
  • Supervise the team members on duty and hold regular team briefings
  • Train the team
  • Lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through the front of house team
  • Assisting senior managers in the smooth running of the restaurant, staff management and training along with ordering and stock control
  • Deal with customer complaints in a professional and courteous way
  • Manage bookings using our online reservation system
  • Carry out host / hostess duties as required

Qualifications & Experience

· Previous experience delivering excellent service in a Food & Beverage environment

· At least one year’s experience of managing a team (as a Supervisor or a Team Leader)

· Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities.

Ideally, we would like you to have some of the following experience:

  • Experience of working with the Open Table reservation system

Offering all-day dining from Tuesday to Saturday The Holy Carrot is the perfect place to meet, hang out, eat and drink, any time of the day, from 12 noon to 10 pm.
