Junior Chef

Prickly Pear, one of Nottingham’s longest standing Vegan Businesses is currently looking to recruit a Junior Chef/Commis Chef to work in our busy ‘from scratch’ kitchen located at The Golden Fleece Pub in Nottingham.

Initially working alongside the Head Chef – you would work towards running your own shifts & would be fully involved in the development of future menus, processes, and deputising in the absence of the senior.

Previous kitchen experience & a basic food hygiene certificate is desired – however full training would be given to the right applicant.

A passion for vegan, plant-based food & ethics would be of a huge advantage over other applicants.

Hours of work would initially be between 16 – 20 hours a week with opportunities to take on more to cover holidays & secondments.
