As a start, this position is for a free-lancer for a 3 month contract.

Our mission is to inspire corporates to provide employees with Asian plant-based lunches inspired by all South East Asian and East Asian cuisines.  It’s about providing meals inspired by Vienamese, Thai but also Korean and Japanese cuisines and freshly artisan made by women.   Our meals are not strictly for vegan only, they are for everyone who want to embrace a more plant-based diet for a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.

For our start-up we are looking for  a passionate and skilled chef with commitment to plant-based food and sustainability/ We want to work with you who have a strong desire to contribute to better health for people and the planet. If you have a strong interest for Asian food, it’s even better. Our mission is to contribute positively to human health, the community  and a sustainable food.

We want you if you are an experienced, dedicated, creative and hard-working person with a strong drive to progress within the field of plant-based cuisine.

– Culinary degree/certificate or solid experience

– Experience with and genuine interest in plant-based food

– You have a strong sense of work ethic, get things done in a timely manner, and deliver a high-quality end product

– You are able to see opportunities and hard-working

The job can take place either in East London (near Hackney) or North West London (near Kilburn)

About the founder

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about good food. I’ve never been a fussy eater - I’ve always been keen on trying new cuisine, a passion that still lives with me today. My corporate career has taken me all around the world, yet my love for cooking has never wavered. While still working at my full-time job, I was trained as a Pastry Chef (Ferrandi, Paris) and I started my own catering company to bring the taste of Asia to businesses. As an immigrant, I know how easy it is to lose touch with your roots.

During this time, I started to become more aware of what I put into my body. My food choices affect not just me, but my surroundings too. That’s when I first became interested in a plant-based lifestyle, using the powers of herbs, spices, pulses, grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes to transform my life. I pursued my training as a Natural Chef and Plant-Based Chef (from CNM in London and Rouxbe, Canada).

I can not wait to share my mission with others.

At BOM, we provide more variety for corporates searching for delicious plant-based Asian meals free from inferior ingredients like flavour enhancers, preservatives, or artificial colorants - all of which negatively impact health and productivity.Our low-carb, high-energy corporate Asian meals respect the environment, with NO plastic containers and a lower carbon footprint. As much as we can, we will always prefer using local or sea-freight fresh ingredients for our meals instead of sourcing the cheapest fresh ingredients flown from across the world.
