About Native Snacks

First we’re taking consumers on a trip to India with our range of Popped Lotus Seeds. A light and crunchy, healthier snacking alternative to popcorn and crisps that are vegan, gluten free and a good source of fibre and protein. We have partnered with the Bihar Development Foundation UK to run health camps for our farmers and their families by donating 1p for each bag sold.

Founded in 2019, we are now stocked in some key accounts, such as Selfridges, As Nature Intended, Eat17, Sourced Market, as well as with distribution through Marigold, Simply Heavenly, Taste Distribution and DDC. Having launched in February we have already sold over 20,000 units and see a 200% uplift in sales when sampling. We also have a listing into a grocery in January!

The Role

We are now looking for an ambitious Sales Executive or Manager to join our team based in East London on the NatWest Acceletor programme in order to help increase our rate of sale, distribution across the country and strategically target food service accounts. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has worked in FMCG for at least a year and is looking to join a challenger snack brand on its journey to become the next globally loved snack brand.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in FMCG with a proven track record within sales for 1-2 years – ideally within food service, but not essential
  • Delivering sales and profit targets, with P&L ownership and budget management
  • Identifying target accounts and winning new business
  • Delivering the wholesale, food service and independent strategy to achieve rapid growth in a sustainable and measured way
  • Driven to learn, work hard and adapt in a fast-paced start-up culture
  • A passion for and know-how of the food service industry and HORECA
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • A tenacious, customer focused, go-get attitude
  • Organised, with a high attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Great communication and negotiating skills, both written and verbal
  • Good understanding of business financials and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Pipedrive
