The Old Baths Cafe and Gaia Pulses in Hackney Wick are looking for a proactive, responsible and experienced young chef with good energy to join our team. A great opportunity for someone to work with delicious, real wholesome food cooked with love and mostly organic ingredients. We are looking for a second chef to assist our Head Chef, Addie. Someone with experience or interested in batch cooking. Baking is a bonus. We pay by the hour and the job is mainly during the day. We need someone flexible to start part time as soon as possible and with the prospect of taking more responsibilities in the near future. We need a minimum of 1 year commitment to consider your application.
About Gaia Pulses - The Old Baths
We are a small cafe, restaurant and food brand inspired by traditional Greek culinary culture. We are based in a wonderful community oriented building that used to be the public baths of Hackney Wick. We operate mainly during the day but also at evenings during events. We are all about spreading the word on the benefits of a plant based diet, mindfulness, community and sustainability. All the employees have free access to the yoga classes that are taking place in the building and have the opportunity of being part of our vibrant and creative community.
