We’re building our tribe and are looking for authentic individuals with a passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences. We’re excited to be launching a new vegan boutique hotel & restaurant and are looking for an experienced Vegan Chef to join our growing team.
You will lead the curation of our seasonal menu and share your vision & recipes for organic, sustainable vegan cuisine catering to both raw and vegan clientele. This is an incredible opportunity to help us design our menu from the ground up and to help us prepare our restaurant for launch. Seasonality is at the core of our ethos and you will bring your own approach to this as you explore all of incredible ingredients available at our doorstep.
The right candidate will be a passionate, hardworking chef eager to promote the amazing possibilities of plant-based cuisine.
What we’re looking for:
· Have at least 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen
· Are familiar with food & safety standards
· LOVE plant-based food
· Maintain calm under pressure
· Have a great attitude
· Be a team player
· Are interested in learning new skills
Job requirements:
· Ability to read, speak, communicate in fluent English and Spanish
· Ability to stand, bend, walk, do 8+ hour shifts
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
