The Vegan Society makes veganism more accessible and an easily adopted approach by supporting individuals, policy and decision makers, caterers, manufacturers, health care professionals and the media.

In order to meet our ambitious plans for the next few years, we need to recruit some new people to our team in The Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
The role
We are looking for a Finance Manager to support our operations, ensure we adhere to best practice in financial management and comply with relevant company law and charity regulations. The post holder will work with the Head of Business Development, Head of Communications, Head of Campaigns, CEO and Treasurer to ensure we work efficiently within budgets and to prepare business cases to inform all decisions on the use of our resources.
The role requires the post holder to be meticulous and capable of dealing with a varied and demanding workload. Knowledge of Quickbooks and Sage Payroll would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.
In order to work effectively in a changing environment, initiative and flexibility are required from the post holder. Any other tasks that may be requested will be at the same level of responsibility and terms and conditions of employment.

Salary and hours
£27,000-30,000 per annum pro-rata based on 22.5-30 hours per week.
