Overview
We are looking for a Commis Chef to be part of our team at Wild Food Cafe, Islington – situated on Upper Street, in-between Angel and Highbury & Islington tube stations.
We are quite a small team, both Front of House and Back of House, but with regards to the successful candidates position amongst our chefs, you will be part of a group of 5 – 6 often working with the Head Chef or Sous Chef – ample opportunity to develop and hone your skills alongside experienced professionals.
We are looking for a professional, committed chef to fit in with our existing team, but also driven to bring new ideas to the table. Previous experience in a similar, busy environment is a must but we are also looking for those:
– with great organisation
– with immaculate food safety / hygiene standards
– keen to learn
– passionate about plant-based food
We are open to someone looking for 20 – 30 hours or someone looking for 30 – 35 so please apply with your CV and a short cover letter letting us know a bit about you and your preferred hours.
