We are seeking a dynamic & experienced senior pastry chef possessing the skill set, attention to detail and leadership ability to manage and develop our small but committed production team.

You will be working with and reporting directly to the business founder and senior business management on a daily basis and be an integral part of the growth and development of the business.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring and maintaining quality and standards.
  • Production planning and meeting KPI
  • Developing the team and managing day to day production.
  • Ingredient ordering and stock control.
  • Ensuing all Health & Safety policies are followed and a high level of hygiene maintained.
  • NPD – working with the business founder on exciting new product development.

The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Be a team player with great communication and people skills.
  • Possess a good work ethic and time management.
  • At least two years working in a production kitchen.
  • Excellent decorative skills.
  • Have the ability to work to deadlines while delivering excellent results.
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Have a passion for baking.
  • Be positive with a dynamic personality and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ideally possess Level II in Food Hygiene.
  • Have a good level of spoken and written English.
  • Live in the South East London area.

Salary: From £28,000.00 per year
