Overview
We are expanding our team and looking for a hairdresser/hairstylist on a part time basis
Hours/days of work:
Thursday 9:20am to 8pm
Friday 10am to 8pm
Saturday 10am to 4:30pm
We are currently a small team consisting of 4 people and are looking to expand. The salon is an award winning, vegan friendly and cruelty free salon so a passion for animals/environment would be a bonus. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of treatments and services offering both hair and beauty services in a relaxed and professional environment.
We are ideally looking for the following:
*fully qualified in all aspects of hairdressing – at least NVQ/VRQ Level 2
*minimum of 2 years recent salon experience
*experience of running own column
*professional attitude
*a passion for hairdressing and desire to learn more
*a positive attitude
*to be able to work unsupervised in all aspects of hairdressing
*a portfolio of work
Job description/expectations:
*womens haircutting – short to long
*hair colouring – foils, balayage, colouring etc
*hairstyling – blow dry, styling, up-do’s, bridal/prom styling
*shared receptionist duties
*mens cutting
Potential for further training and training in beauty if desired.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £8.91 to £10.00 /hour
