About Jay & Joy
Jay & Joy is first and foremost the story of Eric and Mary. They met during a meditation session. They became vegetarian, then vegan. The hardest part was living without cheese, their great passion. There was no artisanal alternative on the market. That's where the idea of Jay & Joy was born, the first vegetarian creamery in France, germinated in 2014. Based on ancestral French cheese-making techniques, as well as training at the most renowned cheese schools, they have developed a unique know-how, and today offer a wide range of vegan alternatives to cheese. The products are made in the workshop at 60, in La Croix Saint-Ouen and are sold by the cut in the shop "la crèmerie végétale de Jay&Joy" in the 11th arrondissement in Paris. Their ambition is simple: to preserve the Earth and its resources, to respect living beings, while making the products accessible to the greatest number of people. This implies simple and tasty products, conveying a fun and colourful image. The products are lactose-free, soy-free and gluten-free, but they are full of character and indulgence.
