SITE is a series of live projects under (and over) one roof, continuously exploring and testing ways to reduce our impact on and celebrate our interdependence with the planet. The SITE KITCHEN is an all day cafe + bar at street level. Nothing here contains any ingredient derived from animals or animal by-products. We source our ingredients as close to home as possible by foraging wild produce, growing our own and buying surplus from our neighbours, purchasing further afield only from carefully selected suppliers using minimal intervention growing methods. We manage our food waste through composting, fermenting, dehydrating and through creative use of every part of each whole raw ingredient. Our SITE GARDEN is a lush, palm-filled outdoor courtyard with a roof deck above where we are growing the edibles for our menu. In our underground SITE LAB we are farming oyster mushroom using our coffee waste and working on material research and development projects. We run a public programme of events and workshops, and we offer exhibition space to artists whose work is focussed on similar themes. In the SITE STORE we retail our own produce and selected products from friends who share our values. Join us for food, conversation and research.
