Assistant to the Executive Director – 20 Hours A Week Employee – Lansing, MI

Are you a kind and professional ethical vegan who is faith-based (or compassionate to the faith-based population) and has experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, One Drive, HTML, YouTube Channel management, and CANVA and knows how to be an excellent assistant? You will also need a creative hand and top-notch writing/editing skills, a love of learning and research, and pay plenty of attention to details. The best candidate is a smart, positive, passionate, ethical vegan who gets along well with others and has the required skills. If this sounds like you, we have a 20-hour-a-week employee position available. Monday through Friday, 5 hours a day. The hours, although flexible, need to be completed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern Time. This is a very rewarding, positive, and amazing position.

During your 20 hours each week, you will be working directly with our Executive Director who is always happily juggling many things and has an endless variety of interesting and detailed projects that need your assistance. It is a MUST that you have all the skills listed and old-school HTML skills. Our website, founded in 1998, is HUGE and multi-layered with coding through the decades. This is not a drag-n-drop site – nor is there time to teach you HTML. Applicants must be able to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Word, Excel, One Drive, Outlook, HTML, YouTube Channel management, and CANVA. Your role will be to assist in projects and manage certain tasks that aid in our organization’s productivity in the vegan movement.

Experience and excellent references are required. Theological studies and/or Adobe Creative Cloud experience a plus, but not required. Applicants must be able to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, One Drive, Outlook, HTML, YouTube Channel management, and CANVA. Lansing, MI based is preferred but virtual U.S. is possible.  This is a permanent part-time position without benefits. If interested, contact Tams Nicholson, tams@all-creatures.org
