Alley Cat Rescue, an International Cat Advocacy group, is looking for a part-time Program Manager in Los Angeles who wants to help cats—-20 hours per week.
ACR works to help cats nationwide and internationally, and also has two hands-on programs in Los Angeles and Maryland where we run weekly spay clinics. Among other jobs, The Program Manager should be willing and able to transport cats to the Clinic in Los Angeles and check in the cats for the Spay clinic, as well as coordinate with the trappers.
ACR also rescues cats from local Animal Shelters, this will be a part of this job.
The Program Manager must become well versed in the cat overpopulation problem not only in Maryland and Los Angeles, but throughout the country, plus the solutions to end it, and must be an advocate for TNR—Trap-neuter-return- of feral cats. Various admin tasks need to be completed as well.
ACR runs 2 adoption sites in Los Angeles. This job entails overseeing the volunteers who help at the adoption sites, and must be willing to fill in at the adoption sites when necessary.

· must be able to accept challenges and opportunities of working for a small nonprofit
· must be experienced at prioritizing and managing projects in a fast-paced environment
· must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts
· must have a commitment to the goals of helping cats, especially outdoor cats
· must have excellent writing skills with high level of computer knowledge
· minimum of 2 years working in non-profits will be a plus
Salary negotiable depending on experience
