allplants is a VC-backed start-up on a mission to become Earth’s most forward-thinking food company. We believe food is the bridge between people and planet, so we put social impact first,

launching in Jan’17 we’ve bagged awards, serving >200,000s meals through our 5-star, online shop
and subscription service.
Working at our food production site, you will be managing a team of food platers. Working with our pure plant based recipes, you will have strong management experience and if possible, exposure to food manufacture or FMCG.
You will join and lead our plating team, assisting with the mixing, plating and freezing of our dishes – plating each dish to our exacting aesthetics and quality standards.
To succeed in this role:

you will lead by example, sleeves-up and prepping or plating wherever necessary, you will master our plating finishes – always contributing to the smooth running of the kitchen and consistent quality products, while looking out for others & guiding them.

The ideal applicant will:
Have worked in a busy production environment for a minimum of 12 months, ideally +36 months within major contract catering or premium hand-made production kitchens (e.g. Bighams, Pret, Cook, Bakkavor, Kerry Foods, large hotels or CPUs).
Ideally has worked in a similar cook-freeze, cook-chill and/or food production environment.
Passionate about great food, slick operations and consistently brilliant flavours.
Takes pride in achieving the highest levels of cleanliness and health & safety.
Organisational beast, thriving on getting things done, continuously learning and improving quality, culture and systems.
Top communicator, enhancing the team by listening, offering direction and speaks up when something is wrong or jeopardising production or quality.
