After massive growth over the last year we’re looking for people with a passion for food to join the team at our highly rated and reviewed permanent residency at one of London’s only fully vegan bars.

Biff’s Jack Shack specialise in filthy vegan junk food made from crispy fried jackfruit (not a lentil in sight). We believe in indulgent food, great service, and a liberal use of neon. We’ve been featured on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and national press including The Guardian and Good Food magazine. Time Out recommend us as one of the top vegan burgers in London.

Responsibilities are to ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible;

  • Collect and wash up pots and pans.
  • Blending and creating sauces.
  • Helping chefs stocking up open plan kitchen.
  • Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
  • Unload food and equipment deliveries.
  • Keep the storeroom and chiller organised.
  • Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.


Some kitchen or street food experience a bonus but full training will be given
You’ll be able to stay motivated and be proactive in a busy kitchen
Hygiene level 2 certificate (takes 2 hours to do online and we can pay for you to do it)
We’re looking for fun and fast learners, who enjoy working in a positive and social environment.

The roll PT/FT depending on how many hours/days you want to do, with shifts being in the evening Tues-Fri and all day/evening Sat/Sun. Would either suit someone looking for ~35 hours a week, or someone that wants to supplement a PT day job.

Based in Stoke Newington, to start asap.
