We are Club Cultured one of UK’s most exciting food start ups and we are on a mission to make Tempeh the number 1 protein choice and we are looking for legends to be with us along this journey.
We already supply the likes of Tortilla, Rosas Thai, Mildreds, All Plants, Meat Liquor and many more incredible customers.
If you are interested in learning the ancient art of Tempeh making, being part of a young thriving food start up. Then this is the job for you.
Tempeh is a 5 day process from full bean to full block. So a Tempeh operator would have varied jobs throughout the week such as ..
– Bean Grinding
– Tempeh Cook (which consists of Washing beans, Cooking Beans, Drying Beans, Inoculating Beans, Mixing Beans, Bagging Up Beans).
– Stabbing the Tempeh after 24hrs of Fermenting.
– Packing, Labelling, Blast Chilling/ Freezing the Tempeh.
– Boxing up ready to send to our amazing customers.
We currently make up to 1 ton a week but the word is getting out how amazing our Tempeh is so over the next few months we expect to making up to 5 tons to 20 tons.
You will be trained by our Head Tempeh Maker James and will also have your Food Hygiene Training & Haccp Level 1 and 2 paid for also by the Club.
Our starting wage is at £10 per hour and we can offer up to 30 hours a week. (all breaks are paid).
