Overview
Coalition for Healthy School Food is hiring a part-time assistant to work with our nutrition educator in NYC elementary schools. The assistant will prep, serve and promote healthy plant-based snacks to students in our Food Unearthed lessons. We are looking for a passionate vegan who loves working with children and has an interest in nutrition education and/or food service. The dates and times are not yet confirmed but are likely to be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm starting mid-October. Two days in Brooklyn and one day in lower Manhattan. $18 – $20 per hour. Vaccination required.
