Position Title: Development Manager

Job Type: Part-time / 16 hours per week, flexible schedule / Remote from anywhere in the U.S.

Reports To: Hope Bohanec, Executive Director

Salary: $25.00 per hour ($19,200 annually)

Compassionate Living, a 501c3 non-profit vegan organization, is seeking a Development Manager for 2022. We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of and a deep passion for veganism and the animal rights movement and who can give at least a one-year minimum commitment.

This position requires a professional individual with the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects, prioritize, follow through, and communicate effectively. The Development Manager must have related nonprofit communications and fundraising experience, excellent writing and editing skills, creative ideas for fundraising, grant research and writing proficiency, and proven success in these areas for other non-profits.

This role will consist of managing Compassionate Living’s fundraising efforts and online fundraising campaigns (e.g., email marketing campaigns, FB and IG fundraisers, etc.) and grants. This position will play a key role in the development of fundraising material, developing and managing fundraising campaigns, researching new fundraising opportunities, and researching and applying for grants.

 

About Compassionate Living: Compassionate Living is a vegan animal rights organization focused on justice, the animals, the environment, inclusivity, and creating change with positive encouragement, education, and support. We do not focus on health issues. Along with general vegan education and events (both online and in-person), our three key areas of focus are the Humane Hoax Project, the Hope for the Animals Podcast, and the Ahimsa Living Project.
