Erpingham House are recruiting a talented Chef de partie for our new opening at St James Quarter.
As plant-based dining becomes more popular, opening this concept was a way for us to evolve the Erpingham house brand, and in doing so ensure we were able to reflect the area we are in. Edinburgh has a unique, creative & vibrant energy we wanted to capture with the approach, so we’ve developed our initial concept & have created something new for the city. With a strong plant-based heritage, Erpingham House Edinburgh aims to help further the world’s adoption of more plant-based foods, and as a result a more conscious lifestyle.
Our Edinburgh site will be a slightly different take on our two current restaurants. St James Quarte will be an elevated high end concession food hall concept located in the shopping center providing exceptional fresh food standards throughout.
As CDP you will be responsible for all aspects of the food. All of the prepping, cooking and serving of the meals, in line with government health standards.
You will be in charge of maintaining and keeping the kitchen in a clean and orderly manner.
You will be in charge of stock and ordering for the kitchen.
The ideal candidate is some one that is self motivated and loves working part of a team.
Being a CDP will you need to be well disciplined in time keeping and have very high standards. The successful candidate will need to bring their own enthusiasm and creativity, to work alongside the owners to deliver their vision whilst adding your creative spin. You will be joining the team from ground zero so organising your processes will be essential. Being an open kitchen you must be well presented at all times and able to deal with people watching you under pressure.
