Production Chef Requirements

  • Excellent work ethic and keen attention to detail
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a culinary role – high-volume production or catering experience is ideal
  • Working knowledge of plant-based cuisine and desire to grow in this field
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with cooking & prep methods, knife skills, and best practices for safety & sanitation
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with a team
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to read, understand, & execute written instructions
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to stick work with a list of tasks in an efficient manner until completion
  • Flexible schedule and availability to start work early in the morning 5 days/ week – as early as 6-7 am
  • Culinary degree preferred

Production Chef Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation, production, & packaging of meals under the direction of Executive Chef & Sous Chef
  • Uphold high standards & adherence to recipe specs
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Maintain clear communication and good teamwork with entire staff & leadership team
