Heal Farmacy is a small, woman-owned business centered around holistic food and living! We are selling a limited menu of vegan and gluten-free hot foods at the Kootenai Farmer’s Markets and need an extra set of hands in the prep kitchen and at the market.

The ideal candidate would be positive, eager, kind, and down for dance parties! A love for yummy health-conscious food is preferred, as well as a love for hospitality and customer interaction. Experience in the kitchen is helpful but a willingness to learn is fine too! We really want someone eager to be a part of this growing team.


Part-time/flexible: roughly 20 hrs per week with the possibility of more.

Must have Wednesday afternoon/evenings and Saturdays available.

Note: This is currently a seasonal position with room for growth and opportunity during the farmers market off-season.




Food Prep: chopping vegetables/fruits, juicing, washing, organizing and weighing ingredients, and mixing pre-planned recipes

Cleaning: cleaning before and after we food prep/cook including washing dishes

Loading: help loading produce, and equipment, to and from the kitchen



Load equipment and food before the market

Assist in setting up tent and booth, must be able to lift equipment (like tent, tables, stove, propane tank, etc.)

Engage with customers, manage orders and payments while providing excellent customer service

Fill out the sales report at the end of the market.

Takedown tent/booth, load and unload car into storage facility



Some customer service experience

Friendly, outgoing

Punctual and reliable

Must be 18+ years or older

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Reliable transportation to and from work (Spokane/Coeur d’Alene)

Willing to work outside in various weather conditions



$13-15/hr plus tips (which can be considerable)

Mileage reimbursement possible

1 free meal per shift (duh!)
