Overview
As a Dispatch Assistant, you will be an integral part of our small operations team, responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate dispatch of our products to customers. Your role will involve efficiently packing shipments, from online order to larger retail orders, and liaising with various internal teams to ensure seamless delivery processes. The successful candidate will able to work as part of a large team during busy periods, such as the lead up to Christmas, as well as able to work alone in quieter times.
Salary – £11.95/hour (London Living Wage)
Responsibilities –
- Documentation
- Taking goods in deliveries and organising them in the warehouse
- Pick and pack for online customers, small business customers and larger retail customers
- Stock management
- Speaking internally with colleagues and with external suppliers/stockists
- Using courier portals such as DPD
Skills –
- Organisation
- Personable with a good phone etiquette
- Able to be to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Time management
- Attention to detail
- Able to work promptly and to daily deadlines
- Able to learn and take on new tasks
- Able to lift to manual handling limit
- Familiar with warehouse environment
- Must be able to work across the Christmas and Veganuary period.
Full UK Driving license desirable
