Job Title: Chef De Partie

Hours: 35-40 hours (per week average)

Location: North London

Pay: £13 per hour

Holiday Entitlement: 28-days annual, inclusive of bank and public holidays

We are looking for a passionate & ambitious Chef to join our team at our exciting new site in North London.

This is an amazing opportunity to get involved in the launch of a new, lively, buzzy restaurant. You will be working as part of our kitchen team and supporting our renowned head chef, Nathan Collymore, to create exquisite looking vegan Caribbean food.

  • Preparing and cooking to a high standard for diners and catering clients


  • Running a busy Section
  • Supporting all Kitchen staff in all aspects of their role
  • Taking direction and working with the restaurant’s kitchen management & operations team
  • Monitoring and controlling stock and ordering levels
  • Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed


  • Following best food safety best practices and ensuring other kitchen staff members do the same
  • Complying with in house mandatory requirements to follow all food hygiene procedures and fill out documentation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Recording all incidents and accidents in the correct and timely manner
  • Acting with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces
  • Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen


  • 1+ years of experience in a similar position
  • 2+ years working as a chef in a busy kitchen
  • Experience cooking plant-based (vegan) cuisine is desirable but not essential
  • Experience cooking Caribbean cuisine is desirable but not essential
  • Formal chef training
  • Valid level 2 food hygiene certificate or above
  • Fast and organised working
