About the Job – Kitchen Assistant

·         Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients

·         Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas based on company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards

·         Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment

·         Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens

·         Looking to learn and develop responsibility and grow with the company

About the Job – Event Staff

·         Unloading equipment from trucks and setting up stall for events/markets

·         Working under the instructions of an Event Manager

·         Ensuring the event stall is clean and organized

·         Adhering to event safety standards

·         Ensuring excellent levels of customer service

·         Serving food and drinks

·         Packing up equipment when the event is completed

About You

·         Must have at least Level 2 food safety and be familiar with all aspects of Health and Safety, tracking temperatures etc.

·         You will have high standards and a good eye for detail

·         Must be upbeat, outgoing, and positive

·         Ability to work as part of a vibrant team

·         Have an interest about food and a willingness to learn

·         Adheres to all company policies and procedures

·         Thinks and acts quickly and calmly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

·         Be eligible to work in the UK
