As a Customer Success Specialist, you’ll be responsible for helping current and prospective customers with their various needs via email, phone, chat, and social media.

We’re looking for a fellow vegan who is a detail-oriented self-starter to work in our office in Tempe, Arizona (our only location; relocation budget available). LeafSide is a fast-growing company, offering innovative 100% whole-food plant-based (WFPB) meal packs. Our mission is to make healthy, nutritionally-optimal, whole-food plant-based eating so easy and enjoyable, that it becomes a societal norm.

Salary & Benefits

  • This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 40 to 45 hours/week.
  • We offer starting pay of $40,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Further pay increases, bonuses, and responsibilities will be offered based on performance, your skills development, and your initiative and drive — and for great performance, reviews and raises will come quickly.
  • PTO is over 3 weeks annually (6 paid holidays, 5 sick days, 7 vacation days), accrued per pay period; sick and vacation time can be used interchangeably.

Qualifications

  • Customer Support Experience: You have at least 2 years of customer support work experience, and you’re enthusiastic about helping our customers achieve their health goals.
  • Communication Skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong listening and organizational skills with proven attention to detail.
  • Nutrition Knowledge: You’re familiar with whole food plant-based/vegan nutrition — knowledge of Dr. Greger’s Daily Dozen and additional nutrition education is helpful (i.e. documentaries, podcasts, other reading/videos).
  • Organization & Related Skills: You are highly organized with your time, and attention, as well as both paper and online documents; and you are more than proficient with office software/applications. Ideally, you’re able to solve most common technology questions/issues independently.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Adjectives that apply to you include personable, professional, diplomatic, energetic, adaptable, and trustworthy.
  • Independent Problem Solver: Use sound judgment and enthusiastic persistence to achieve goals; demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changes and handle multiple competing tasks & demands.

Responsibilities/Duties

Customer Service & Support

  • Provide superior service to customers’ inquiries, by communicating appropriately, accurately, and efficiently via email, chat, text, & calls.
  • Be a general advisor to both customers and prospects.
  • Communicate with appropriate staff members to ask questions, and provide updates.

Metrics Tracking, Analysis & Reporting

  • Create & update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and use spreadsheets to track relevant data daily.

Learning & Self-Improvement

  • Continually learn about the vegan/WFPB lifestyle via podcasts, books, documentaries, etc.
  • Other Responsibilities depend on your background, motivation, and commitment to growth. : -)
