Overview
Love Shack is a busy 100% vegan restaurant and bar in the heart of East London serving a variety of seasonal dishes from small plates to weekly specials with an emphasis on creating daily specials to save on food waste
You will be joining a brigade of incredibly passionate, creative and experienced vegan chefs who make exciting, unique and of course delicious meals, mostly from vegetables and mushrooms, utilising Seasonal, local & independent produce
We are looking for an experienced chef to join our kitchen team chef here at Love Shack in an senior CDP position
The pay will be salary and based upon experience, but will range between £26 – £30k PA
The right applicant will be resourceful, creative, passionate and hard working with a broad knowledge of plant based dishes and a strong interest in seasonality and sustainability, and of course excellent tasting food
The team is dynamic, fun and motivated with a desire to create the best plant based cuisine possible, often creating our own spins on classic dishes.
There is a real opportunity to grow and progress within the business and join a strong team of four existing chefs.
Full time – 35 – 40 hrs per week

Please note that prior experience is essential, you must have previous experience working in a commercial kitchen with service experience. No prep chefs please – Please do not apply if you have not worked in a busy service kitchen in a chef position.
