Deputy Manager/Chef – Full time or part time

The Deputy Manager/Chef role covers all areas of food service, from cooking and preparing the food, to taking orders and serving customers. Currently most business is from walk bys, however we are now expanding into delivery so receiving and preparing orders to both in person custom and through are delivery partners will be a large part of the role. Good communication is essential to build and maintain a regular customer base. You would also assist with our social media and online presence.

We are looking for someone who has at least 1 years experience performing in a busy food/market/festival stall to help manage our Kingston location alongside the owner. Applicants who have similar work experience in food/catering will also be considered. A passion for animal rights is preferred.

The role offers fast progression with the opportunity to become General Manager and run the stall yourself and to get involved with expanding to other locations and events.

Day-to-day responsibilities can include:

-Preparing food in the morning for later sale

-Receiving and serving food orders for customers and delivery

-Cleaning and maintaining equipment and the stall

-Assisting with our social media and online presence
