Core activity of Trust – Reforestation and conservation:

1. Forest expansion and conservation: Buy land banks near existing reserved forests to expand the forests, conduct and facilitate conservation research
2. Waste management: Enforce plastic waste management in collaboration with the government and work on gradual elimination of plastics from the area by promoting local, unpackaged products
3. Conservation advocacy: Augment rural school education, develop P1 Team comprising of celebrity conservationists and vegans for doing advocacy for keeping forests intact, ending animal farming by engaging with India’s leading journalists, politicians, and businessmen

Responsibilities:

1. Land search, infra development of Mahikul Conservation Centre
2. Framework and business model development using research
3. Marketing and fund raising for the Trust
4. Take up area among conservation or livelihoods

Requirements:

1. Willing to relocate to live and work full time in Kotabagh, Uttarakhand soon
2. Strongly believes that climate change is real and that the leading causes are animal farming, transportation, energy production and plastic
3. Have a love forests and would like to spend life in forest conservation or working with communities at grass roots level
4. Should have 8+ years of experience in leading projects, initiatives requiring planning, strategy and execution with some experience in the social sector
5. Lives or willing to live a vegan, zero plastic lifestyle
