Bar person and FoH restaurant services

We are looking for a part-time, or full-time person to help run our small vegan bar section within the restaurant – manage our special selection of UK-produced vegan alcohol and non-alcohol drinks and service, as well as the hot beverages and general bar, mocktail, and table management.

Would suit a student with some previous bar work experience, or someone with an interest in drinks and an eye on a longer-term career to join the team at Manna.  Working at Front of House this role will allow you to learn a lot and develop your hospitality interest and career.

Manna is circa 60-seat restaurant with outside space for a further 20 seats.  We operate a deli counter during the day, as well as a renowned restaurant facility.

You will be proactive in keeping of the bar, maintaining cleanliness, managing the drinks and table service to ensure each customer is welcomed and feels specially attended to. You will have the opportunity to learn and express yourself by serving our quality, seasonal vegan-inspired dishes that are presented to a high standard.

Job Role: Front of House bar operation and drinks services for the Restaurant & Deli activities

Location: North London, NW3

Hours: Normal working hours between 5 and 8 hours per day; ideally 5 days per week although we do offer a flexible schedule;  Part-time availability also considered.  Open Weds through to Sundays.

Salary: the equivalent of 10.50 to 12.50ph/ depending on your experience

The Role

Our restaurant has been serving some of London’s best Vegetarian now Vegan dishes – now 100% vegan. With plans for strong growth, there is room for expanding our team and offering you an opportunity to enhance your career through our vegan-only offering.

All you need is some bar/wine knowledge and service plus the desire to participate in teamwork and get satisfaction from serving customers to the best of your ability. A requirement for good English communication, energetic,  fit and possess a desire to be creative, be committed, and be well organised.
