Position Objective: 

To provide the Operations Department of the PETA Foundation with administrative support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide the Operations Department with administrative support
  • Maintain inventories of building, housing, and animal-care supplies
  • Maintain confidential shred program
  • Drive frequently to perform errands
  • Inspect PETA and PETA Foundation properties and perform general upkeep and maintenance
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor


  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite
  • 2 years of proven administrative experience
  • Ability to work in a professional manner with a variety of people
  • Proven ability to anticipate problems, identify opportunities, and take a proactive approach to responsibilities
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to work on weekends or weeknights occasionally
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. driver’s license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record
  • Commitment to the objectives of the organization
