About this Career Opportunity 

The Nutrition Program Coordinator will support a variety of nutrition programs that promote a plant-based diet to health professionals, the public, and government. This will include coordinating in-person and virtual events, online classes and webinars, creating educational and/or marketing materials for the public, and representing the organization at in person events.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a professional with an understanding of the health benefits of plant-based nutrition and at least four years of work experience. Applicants should also have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. A registered dietitian credential and/or Spanish speaking skills are a plus.  This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate complex logistics across multiple programs. This is a full-time position that regularly requires some work to be performed at our headquarters in Washington, D.C. (Friendship Heights on Metro’s Red Line). Some work can be performed remotely from a location proximate to the office if desired. The position also occasionally requires attending events that require travel and evening or weekend work.
