Are you a highly-creative communicator with a sharp eye for visual impact and a way with words? We are looking for a talented, native Spanish-speaking Digital Communications and PR Specialist to administer our digital channel, with a focus on Social Media, and increase ProVeg’s media presence. As a Digital Communications and PR Specialist, you should be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends, also you need to know how to create impactful media pieces (with the support of the Comms Manager and our PR agency). Ideally, you combine excellent communication skills with the necessary creativity to be able to express ProVeg International’s mission, vision, and all our output in a clear, concise, engaging, and impactful manner. You’ll be responsible for ProVeg Spain website content, our newsletters (B2B and B2C) and social media. Additionally, you are adept at engaging influencers and followers, and building relationships that grow and elevate ProVeg’s profile. You’ll also implement ProVeg’s international campaigns, such as Veggie Challenge, policy-focused campaigns, and the dissemination of our reports, in Spain. Part of your job would be to work with our PR agency to deliver press releases, with content from our INT PR Team and also with original content from our work in Spain.

  • Manage and grow our social media channels with creative and engaging content
  • Implement ProVeg’s international campaigns in Spain
  • Write and distribute monthly newsletters (B2B and B2C), while also building and engaging our supporter base
  • Create relevant web content including regular news stories and blogs
  • Design assets for digital channels, improve SEO and increase the traffic to the website in collaboration with our international digital team
  • Support the development of campaign and fundraising materials
  • Help to identify opportunities for Spain PR work
  • Undertake research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Design and implement digital strategies (Website, social media, and eMail) to align with our aims
  • Analyse, plan, generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content, with a focus on social media and our newsletter (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Write and maintain editorial plans that are relevant to your channels
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging
  • Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner
  • Interact with the public and other B2B stakeholders to build and maintain our influencer community in Spain.
  • Suggest and implement new features in order to develop popularity and engagement (such as promotions and competitions)
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
  • Attend meetings and calls as required
  • Develop knowledge of plant-based-related issues and trends relevant to the role
  • Manage PR work with the help of a PR agency
  • Writing original articles and columns for media outlets as required




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish
  • Very good English language skills (C1 level)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital communications, journalism, advertising and PR or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in managing digital channels
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in PR works
  • Experience in handling social media channels
  • Experience in handling content-management systems such as WordPress
  • Experience with newsletter tools (especially Mailchimp)
  • High competence in the area of SEO/SEA, Google Analytics, and Adwords
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Basic graphic design skills
  • Ability to create and deliver original text, image, and video content for social media
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Experience in working with people from different backgrounds as well as a strong commitment to equal opportunities
  • Strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a team and to develop and maintain positive employee relations
  • Identification with ProVeg International’s values, goals, and mission
