Research Associate/Video Editor

Reports to: Director of Research

Terms of Employment: Full Time, At Will, Nonexempt

Location: Remote



  • Work closely with and assist the Director of Research on all research projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments on an as needed basis
  • Provide in depth research on a variety of topics
  • Review and categorize video footage, photos, and other materials
  • Draft written content
  • Create and edit video compilations
  • Maintain an organized tracking and file system
  • Travel as needed to assist with field work, conferences, and others
  • Follow all human resource and operational procedures
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Research


Preferred Expertise

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Ability to travel
  • Meticulous organization and research skills with careful attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge or commitment to develop knowledge of laboratory animal research
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, discretion, integrity, and honesty at all times
  • Passionately aligned with the vision and mission of the organization
  • Follow all federal, state, and local laws in the course of completing duties and responsibilities
