Do you have experience with serving or hosting? Are you passionate about serving plant-based recipes to guests both exploring and committed to vegan diets?

True Bistro is looking add new members to our front of house team.

As a server, it is essential that you maintain an energetic, friendly and caring attitude at all times. It is your responsibility to see that each guest is made to feel special and enjoys our comfortable atmosphere and tasty and cruelty-free recipes. Fresh and local, when possible, we strive to keep the menu diverse and globally inspired menu.

Here we work as a team. Everyone does their part. Look forward to meeting a small staff that really wants to excel together.

True Bistro opened in 2010. This was the fulfillment of the Harrison’s vision to create a high-end restaurant in the Boston area. After deciding on a name and finding a location in Teele Square, they joined forces with Chef Stuart Reiter. They set out to establish a plant-based restaurant welcoming to all. Our goal continues to be to offer great food and service while respecting our environment and its inhabitants.

Duties include (but aren’t limited to):

Arrive on time
Showing up in clean uniform
Pre-shift setup
Attend pre-shift meeting
Side work
Greeting and seating guests
Menu knowledge
including all ALLERGENS
Present specialties of the house
Taking orders and Entry into POS
Running food to correct guests
Reading ticketed orders
Closing guest tabs
Cleaning and resetting restaurant
Restocking product
Smiling 🙂
Make appropriate selling suggestions
Know how to handle all types of guests.

Experience with “reading” a room and attention to detail will help here.
