Personal Assistant / Administrator

At least 5 hours per week, up to 20 hours depending on experience. Experience working in an accountancy practice would be advantageous but not necessary.

Skills and tasks:

  • High attention to detail is essential
  • Letter writing
  • Filing
  • Company secretarial (with HMRC and Companies House)
  • Collecting direct debits
  • Diary management
  • Requesting client records to prepare accounts
  • Checking records received
  • Deadline management (adding to spreadsheet and monitoring)
  • Registering as the client’s agent
  • Writing content (an advantage)
  • Web updates (an advantage)
  • Payroll processing (an advantage)
  • Graphic design (an advantage)
  • Bookkeeping on Xero (an advantage)

Negotiable pay depending on experience.
