On-site Event manager
For our small vegan kids festival, we are looking for 2 on-site event managers to manage the onsite operations.
- Ensuring that on the day logistics are running smoothly
- Responsible for health and safety of guests, staff, volunteers and contractors, reporting any incidents.
- Co-ordinating staff, volunteers and contractors on-site and managing any problems that arise with scheduling/itinerary.
- Executing plans and schedules.
- Wellbeing check in on staff and contractors
- Troubleshooting any problems that arise.
- Managing event HQ
- Resolving problems and guest enquiries
- Reporting to the event director
Essential skills
- Experience of site/duty management in either a theatre or festival environment.
- A strong knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent planning skills
- Experience of managing staff
We are looking to recruit 2 x event managers to run the onsite operations at our small festival.
Person one:
Friday 3pm – 12pm
Saturday 3pm – 12pm
Sunday 2pm – 8pm (6 hours) total – 24 hours
Person two:
Saturday 6am- 3pm
Sunday 6am – 2pm total – 17 hours
The festival is based near Bournemouth on the 22nd – 24th July Camping is available on site if required.
