Overview

We currently have a position available as a Wholesale Sales Manager with great room for growth. This is a full-time position and will require you to work out of our Chinatown location in Vancouver, BC.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and an established record of performance with Managing a Sales Team. This role would be ideally suited to someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about Veganism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and managing a sales team to foster growth in the Wholesale division
  • Training and coaching a sales team to meet KPIs and provide a great customer experience
  • Lead Generation, Qualifying, Conversion
  • Managing inventory by ensuring inventory levels are accurate, ordering from vendors/transferring stock internally when products reach a certain par level and minimizing product loss
  • Arranging logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments (import/export of goods)
  • Reporting monthly business results to Controller and proactively react to customer shortfalls/opportunities
  • Identifying and developing relationships with prospective wholesale customers
  • Creating sales and marketing strategies to propel the Wholesale Division forward including but not limited to website promotions and a wholesale newsletter
  • Developing, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale customers and distributors/vendors
  • Developing new customer opportunities by using extensive selling and customer relationship skills, strong product knowledge and account management principles
  • Utilizing a CRM system to track communication with current customers and leads
  • Menu Consultation, development of Sample Program
  • Sales Team Reporting, market intelligence and procurement insight
  • Development and Maintenance of Sales Materials – Wholesale Website and Product Availability, External Wholesale Newsletter, Product Catalogue

Beneficial Previous Experience + Qualifications

  • Experience within managing a sales team
  • Experience with managing inventory as a whole
  • Experience with Shopify an asset
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under stressful situations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a team
  • Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
